Located to the northwestern Nepal, exploring Annapurna Region that has been enlisted in the world’s best trekking routes will be the mixed enthralling experiences of cultural tour and natural sightseeing. On the one hand, we will have the close-up views of the natural wonders of Annapurna Mountain Ranges, Gangapurna Massif and Machhapuchre Mountains while on the other hand, we will familiarize ourselves with the rich culture of amiable locals who still observe the traditional way of living.    

Our trekking experts have designed 17days exquisite ‘Ghorepani and Annapurna Base Camp Trek’ which is also known as ‘Annapurna Ghorepani Trek’ that gets triggered with the mesmerizing flight or drive towards the beautiful lake city of Pokhara, a drive whence will lead us to Nayapul that marks the initiation of ultimate trekking experience into the surreal realm of Annapurna Region.

Continuing through the pine and oak woods with blooming rhododendrons fit for bird watching, the trail advances through several highland villages including Ghorepani enabling us to have a peek into the lifestyle, culture and tradition of the natives. The trail then stretches to Annapurna Base Camp where we will enjoy the engrossing views of soaring Annapurna and Machhapuchre Mountains and snow glacier before returning back through Bamboo to Jinu Danda where we will take a dip into the popular natural hot spring and then head for Pothana, a ride whence will lead us to Pokhara. The exquisite trekking package meets its end as we take a flight back to Kathmandu and return to our hotel from where it all started.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1.360m), transfer to hotel:

As soon as you disembark upon the vicinity of Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our hotel representative who will be eagerly waiting for your arrival. You will then have a pleasant short ride through the cheerful streets of Kathmandu which will convey you to our hotel premises that is bound to give you the sensation of a home far from home. After refreshment, you will be detailed about your itinerary package and then you can soothe your tired body by lying idle in our lavish and comfortable bed.

Day 02: Half day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu:

Kathmandu is better known as ‘City of temples.’ It is a vibrant city that is rich in its cultural heritages. In fact, Kathmandu Valley alone holds seven UNESCO enlisted World Heritage Sites. After lunch, a guide will lead you to our private coach that will take you through the enchanting half day trip around Kathmandu encompassing The Pashupatinath Temple Complex that is one of the holiest shrines in the world dedicated to Lord Shiva, The Bouddhanath Stupa which is the most venerated Buddhist Stupa for Tibetans outside Tibet and The Swayambhunath Temple also known as ‘The Monkey Temple’ which enlists as world’s one of the ancient Buddhist Stupas of the world. The tour concludes with your visit into the Basantapur Durbar Complex better known as Kathmandu Durbar Square that once used to be Royal Residence.

Day 03: Fly or drive to Pokhara:

It is on the third day that we will take initiation for ‘Ghorepani and Annapurna Base CampTrek’. The coach will leave from Tourist Bus Park in Kantipath at 7o’clock. You will then have a thrilling 5hours of ride through the serpentine road along Prithvi Highway with occasional views of raging Trishuli River, paddy fields and mountains before the tour ends at the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. Once we enter Pokhara, we will be staying in any one of the hotels that are clustered around the Lake side in Pokhara.
Alternatively, 30minutes of scenic flight through Domestic Airport of Kathmandu will lead us to Pokhara.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul Trek to Tirkhe Dunga (1.550m):

About an hour and half drive through the wide road with looming Annapurna Massif at the backdrop will lead us to Nayapul whence the sensational trekking experience towards the Annapurna belt commences as we continue walking through Birethanti and cross Bhurungdi Khola to arrive at beautiful village of Terkhe Dhunga.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2.830m):

Lowering down the way, we will cross the river and escalate uphill to Ulleri. After a brief pause at Ulleri, we will continue walking through Banthanti and traverse the dense woods of rhododendron and oak for about 3 hours to arrive at Ghorepani located at 2.830m altitude. The breathtaking vision of the colossal mountains seen from Ghorepani will make the trekking rewarding.   

Day 06: Trek to Tadapani (2.630m):

Leaving Ghorepani early in the morning, we will continue walking for about an hour to arrive at Poon Hill which is the natural vantage point popular for its sunrise and sunset view. Enjoying the panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre Mountains, we will return back to Ghorepani once more from where we will continue our trekking through Deurali and Banthanti to make it to Tadapani.

Day 07: Trek to Chomrong (2.090m):

Traversing the verdant woods of blooming rhododendron, we will arrive at Chiule whence the trail stretches along the terraced fields and crosses the bridge over Kimrong River to escalate uphill from where it prolongs along terraces to the pretty hamlet of Klisigo Chiukle. Treading past the cascading waterfall, we will then clamber the mound to arrive at the junction of Ghandrung- Chomrong route continuing which, we will make it to Chomrong.

Day 08: Trek to Himalayan Hotel (2.870m):

We will spend the night in the lodge at Himalayan hotel. Pursuing the downward trail, we will then ascend all the way to Sinwa from where the trail continues through the woods to open up at Bamboo which later gives access to small village of Doban. Bit far from Doban is located Himalayan Hotel with few lodges where we will be staying overnight.

Day 09: Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp MBC (3.730m):

Today’s trail will ascend uphill and passes through Hinku Cave to arrive at a ravine, crossing which, we will continue walking through the rough terrain of moraines and walk past the gates of Annapurna Sanctuary to eventually turn up at Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) where we will have the gratifying spectacle of Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre Mountains.

Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base CampABC (4.090m):

About 2 hours of ascent will in the end allow us the entrance into the secular premises of Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) that rests calmly being encircled by the mountains like Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gangapurna and Machhapuchhre.

Day 11: Trek to Bamboo (2.410m):

Annapurna Base Camp is the farthest point of our trekking. Enjoying the early morning views of Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna III and Gangapurna Mountains, we will make a return trip by lowering down the way through Deurali, Himalayan Hotel and Doban to make it to Bamboo.

Day 12: Trek to Jinu Danda (1.750m):

Lowering down from Bamboo, we will walk past Sinwa and have a gentle drop to meet the river. Crossing the river, the trail scrambles upward to Chomrong from where we will pursue the downward trail to Jinu Danda located at 1750m altitude height.

Day 13: Trek to Pothana (1.600m):

Pursuing the trail downward, we will arrive at river. Crossing the river, the trekking trail ascends upward through Landruk, Tolka and Deurali to arrive at Pothana located at 1.600m altitude height where we will be staying overnight..

Day 14: Back to Pokhara (850m):

Leaving Pothana behind, we will take the downward trail and walk past Dhampus to eventually arrive at Dhampus which marks the end of thrilling trekking experience as we catch a bus from Phedi that will shift us to Pokhara. 

Day 15: Sightseeing in Pokhara:

The popularity of Pokhara is skyrocketing day per day as the land of extreme sports. Paragliding and ultraflight are most thrilling experiences that one can try while in Pokhara. A short tour of the enchanting city of Pokhara will begin after the lunch. You will be lead through Seti Gorge, Devi’s Fall also known as Patale Chhago, International Mountaineering Museum, Mahendra Cave and Phewa Lake. Boat riding in Phewa Lake will be an exciting experience. The splendid Barahi Temple exists to the middle of Phewa Lake that glorifies the beauty of Phewa Lake. 

Day 16: Fly back to Kathmandu:

A pleasant 30minutes flight with close up views of snow capped mountains will wrap up at domestic airport in Kathmandu. You will then once more be transported to our hotel. If you wish, you can visit shops around the freak streets of Thamel to buy souvenirs for your near and dear ones back in your home. Later in the evening, farewell dinner will be served to commemorate the successful ‘Ghorepani and Annapurna Base Camp Trek.’

Day 17: Departure:

17th day marks the end of our trekking package. After having the sumptuous breakfast, you will be driven to Tribhuvan International Airport boarding a plane from where will take you to your next desired destination. We are happy to serve you and hope to see you soon in near future.
